My approach is inspired by the thinking of Vanda Scaravelli, informed by The Feldenkrais Method® and yoga. It focuses on developing a very different experience of core strength and stability - through releasing tension and creating ease and length in the body. Gentle, invigorating movement, combined with directed, relaxed attention, increases your ease and range of motion, improves flexibility and coordination, and enables you to rediscover graceful, efficient movement. Rooted in neuroscience, somatic education, yoga, and Feldenkrais, it helps change habitual patterns of posture and self-use, improving your physical comfort.
